Done deal! Monaco sign Minamino from Liverpool

Monaco have now completed the signing of Takumi Minamino from Liverpool.

The Japanese forward has moved to the principality in a deal worth around £15.5m - £12.9m up front plus a further £2.6m in add-ons, per Sky Sports.

Minamino had become surplus to requirements at Liverpool, spending the second half of last season out on loan at Southampton.

He leaves Anfield having scored 14 goals in 55 total appearances under Jurgen Klopp after joining from Red Bull Salzburg in a £7.25m deal in January 2020.

Chelsea in Bellingham battle

Chelsea are said to be among the clubs interested in a deal for Jude Bellingham.

The ex-Birmingham starlet has shone during his time at Borussia Dortmund and is expected to spend another season in the Bundesliga before making a big-money return to English football next summer.

Liverpool and Manchester United have both been strongly linked with Bellingham, though Diario AS now claim that Real Madrid see him as their top target for 2023 as an heir to Luka Modric.

Madrid want a deal at around €90m, though the Spanish outlet add that Chelsea are also in the race for England’s teenage midfielder.

De Jong to Man United deal ‘90 per cent complete'

Manchester United’s deal for Frenkie de Jong is almost complete, according to new reports.

The Red Devils have been in protracted talks for weeks with Barcelona over making the Dutch midfielder Erik ten Hag’s first signing at Old Trafford.

Progress has been frustratingly slow, however, amid haggling over fees and an initial reluctance on De Jong’s part to leave the Camp Nou.

However, the Daily Mail report that the transfer is now ‘90 per cent complete’, with United set to pay an initial £55m fee that could rise almost to £70m with add-ons.

Chelsea emerge as ‘shock contenders’ to sign Neymar

Reports emerged in France earlier this week saying Neymar is considering his future at Paris Saint-Germain.

And now French news outlet RMC Sport claim Chelsea have emerged as shock contenders to sign the Brazil international.

It is no secret that Thomas Tuchel wants to rebuild his forward line this summer.

Chelsea are preparing an opening bid for Raheem Sterling and Tuchel has been promised at least six new signing as the new Chelsea owners bid to close the gap to Manchester City and Liverpool next season.

And Tuchel could yet play at key role in bringing Neymar to Stamford Bridge because he has a good relationship with him from his time in charge at PSG.
